About

Hi Friends! My name is Sarah, I have loved exploring the outdoors and making art ever since I was a child. I find myself often creating new ideas in my head using strange materials. Whether it be a dress out of paper, pants out of blankets, or earrings out of aluminum cans, I enjoy the challenge of a unique material. When I’m not outside climbing desert sandstone or playing in the Colorado River, I’m typically finding a new craft to delve into.

After moving into a big red van and hitting the road, I decided that was the perfect time to start a business, of course! I was seeing so many new places and it surged my creativity. Hooking up my sewing machine to a solar panel was only the beginning.

Why Wild Child? I have always been the girl who’s down to try it all. I give this credit to my younger self. My inner child is always telling me to give something a chance because we never know what will come of it. I believe these days it is important to let our inner child speak up, let her guide us to give us a new appreciation for life. That is why I chose the name Wild Child. Not only am I the “Wild Child” but we can all embrace a little bit more wild to find what makes us happy. For me, it’s getting outside and finding a new craft to get my hands dirty.

Love,

Sarah
